Ronald "Ronnie" Salmon Brown, Sr., 79, of Lillington, NC, passed away, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

Ronnie was born April 30, 1944 in Harnett, NC to the late Davis Brown and Lucille O'Quinn Brown.  He owned and operated BMF Tool and Die Company for over 40 years in Broadway, NC.  Ronnie was a talented musician, singer and songwriter.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Brown.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Ron Brown and wife, Janice; daughter, Terri Brown; and their mother, Linda Brown; sisters, Phillis Ward, and Debbie Clemmons; four grandchildren, Caleb Brown, Dylan Brown, Jordan Brown, and Jessica King; and long-time companion, Marie Brown.

A memorial service will be held 3pm Friday, March 22, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church, 6670 Old US Hwy 421, Lillington, NC 27546.  A burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends 2pm – 3pm prior to the service at the church.
