Robert Kenneth "Kenny" Ragan, 66 of Lillington passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at UNC Hospital.

Kenny was born November 13, 1950 in Lee Co. to the late Charlie and Vira Ragan. Kenny was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Taylor.

Kenny was a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He enjoyed riding horses and watching sports and westerns . He was a hard worker who retired from Harnett Co. School Systems.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Joy Lynn Ragan of Lillington; 3 children, Pamela McCarty of Jacksonville, FL, Lisa Ragan of Sanford and Robert Lynn Ragan of Lillington; a brother, Ray Ragan of Sanford; a sister, Betty Buchanan of Lillington; 6 grandchildren, David Ragan, Alan-Michael Ragan, Jordan McCarty, Miranda May Ragan, Gavin Ragan, Mira-Sita Ragan.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 23, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
