Mr. Robert Lee Haire, 65 of Lillington passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at his home.

Robert was born November 8, 1948 in Harnett Co. to the late Robert Thornton Haire and Rose Mae Matthews Honeycutt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rose and Hurman Matthews.

A graveside service will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Harnett Memorial Park, with Pastor Ricky officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 P.M. Thursday at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.

Robert is survived by wife Kay Payne of the home; 2 daughters, Brenda Whipple and husband Shawn of Fuquay-Varina, Shannon Pope and husband Tim of Coats; a step-son, Daniel Payne and husband Chris Loughlin of Wilmington; 4 grandchildren.
