Robert "Bobby" Ray Cobb, Sr. age 61, of Lillington, died suddenly at his home Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was born in Harnett County on September 19, 1950 to the late James and Dorothy Faircloth Cobb.

Robert drove a truck in the US Army during the Vietnam era and in recent years drove a truck for GS Material Transportation.

Visitation will be at O'Quinn-Peebles Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2-4 PM.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Cobb of Lillington; son, Bobby Cobb, Jr. of Lillington; daughters, Debby Marks and husband Greg of Cameron, Amanda Eyers of Texas; sisters, Linda Faye Smith of Lillington, Jenell Buchanan and husband Waylon of Surf City; grandsons, Damion Cobb of Lillington, Brian Cox of Sanford; granddaughters, Jessica Gautier of Vass, Michele Edwards of Sanford, Hannah Marks of Cameron and 5 great-grandchildren.
