Mrs. Rita Simmons Dickerson, age 59, of Lillington died Thursday at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.

A life-long resident of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lamar and Marguerite Sonni Simmons and was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Lamar Simmons.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 21 at 3:00 pm at Harnett Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Ken Smith. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall
