Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Hill Smith, 74, of Buies Creek passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Transitions Hospice Care in Raleigh. She grew up in Buies Creek, the daughter of the late Edward and Betty Bolton.

Becky is survived by her husband of 41 years, Patrick Smith of the home; son, Jason Collins and his wife Nicole of Mullins, SC; sister, Juanita "Nita" Loftis and husband Bob of Buies Creek; Patrick's children, Wynne Smith and his wife Tracey of Angier, Tara Grandy and husband Dana of Myrtle Beach, SC, Patrick Smith and wife Missy of Pittsboro, Jay Smith and wife Amy of Coats and Miah Gabreski and husband Drew of Pittsboro; 12 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 12:15 PM Monday, March 21, 2022 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn.

Becky was an advocate for children and was a faithful contributor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider a memorial to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
