Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Lyon, 76, of Broadway passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Hal and Clara Taylor Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sohie Page and a brother, Wesley Brown. Becky enjoyed shopping, antiquing, reading her Bible, and cooking.

Becky is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jimmy Lyon of the home; sons, Matthew James Lyon and wife, Deanna, Paul Andrew Lyon, Steven Mark Lyon; 7 grandchildren; great-grandson; sister, Sue Brown Shah and husband, Nipun; sister-in-law, Georgia Lee Brown; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Mamers with Rev. Robbie O'Quinn officiating.
