Ms. Lois Rachel Bennett, 90, of Lillington, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 3 pm at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.  The burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, George Bennett; and sisters, Elvira Wilburn, Callie Cates and Frances Brown.

She is survived by her three children, Mickey Bennett and his wife, Phylliss, Terri Bullock, and David Bennett, all of Lillington; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Bennett of Fuquay-Varina; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 3 pm at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at Rachel's home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
