Mr. Phil Stanley Cummings, 73, of Bunnlevel passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Beulah Cummings Patterson. Phil was a graduate of Boone Trail High School where he was a member of the basketball team that participated in the longest high school game of 13 overtimes. He honorably served his country as a US Navy sailor for four years. Phil worked 28 years with Champion Homes and also 15 years with Liberty Homes. He currently worked with Lillington Small Engine Repair in Lillington.

Phil is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Ann Cummings of the home; daughter, Phyllis Still and husband Tom of Bunnlevel; 2 grandchildren, Phillip and Kenlie; 1 great-granddaughter, Makenzie; 3 sisters, Virginia, Shirley and Lib.

A graveside service will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Raven Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00-4:00 PM at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.
