Mrs. Peggy Brown Ross, 75 of Lillington died Friday, July 2, 2010 at her home. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Julius Lafayette and Stella Hobby Blanchard. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husbands, James Allen Brown and Bill G. Ross, 2 brothers, James and Jack Blanchard and 2 sisters, Virginia McLean and Geraldine Brown. She is survived by her daughter: Judy Lucas and husband Tyrone of Lillington; Son: Steve Brown and wife Susan of Virginia; Step Daughter: Gina Rinehart of Washington; Sisters: Janie Dumphy and Odelia Landuette of Florida, Jessie Bolton and Viola Dean of Fuquay-Varina; 4 grandchildren,Jeff Lucas, Chris Brown, Matt Brown, Rachel Demharter; 5 great grandchildren; Juliana and Keelan Demharter, Logan Brown, Brittany and Crystal Lucas.

910 891 7000Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, July 5, 2010 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Burial will be in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home, other times at her home.
