Mrs. Peggy Baker O'Quinn, 74, of Sanford died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Leon Early and Vera Mozell Mills Baker. Mrs. O'Quinn was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Mark O'Quinn ,daughter, Selynda O'Quinn Hutchens and daughter-in-law, Melonie Glennette O'Quinn. Mrs. O'Quinn was a dedicated mother and caregiver for her daughter, Selynda. Mrs. O'Quinn owned and operated Tiny Tots Daycare in Sanford for 38 years. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Funeral will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Pastor Martin Groover officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 PM.

Mrs. O'Quinn is survived by her son, Bobby O'Quinn and wife Dorenda of Sanford, son, Richard O'Quinn and wife Celis of Sanford, son-in-law, Greg Hutchens of Sanford, granddaughter, Tonya O'Quinn Dew and husband Ricky Dew Jr. and grandson, Ben O'Quinn, great-grandson, Wyatt Dew, sister, Marjorie Martin and husband Glenn of Mamers, brother, Roger Baker and wife Lucille of Raleigh, sister, Shirley Dean of Raleigh, brother, Tony Baker of Raleigh and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their many thanks for all the prayers, cards, visits and other expressions of kindness.
