Mrs. Peggy Locklear, 68, of Willow Spring died Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born in Lee County, the daughter of the late John Wallace and Elsie Mason Holder. Peggy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, shopping and traveling. Peggy worked for Tyco Electronics in Fuquay Varina and retired after many years of service. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Maxwell. Peggy loved her church family at Black Creek Worship Center.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles Locklear of the home; son, Glenn Locklear of the home; daughters, Tammy Locklear of Coats and Susie Holder of Angier; 5 grandchildren, Chris, Tiffany, Marcus, Jaylen and Chassidy; 4 great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, Maricella and Dominic; sister, Nancy Trodgen of Wilson; 2 brothers, Gary Holder of Mamers and Tommy Holder of Chesnee, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel in Lillington with Rev. Paul Holder and Rev. Roland Byrd officiating. Entombment will follow in Westview Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
