Mrs. Patsy Kelly Worrell, age 74, of Lillington died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at her home. She was born in Lee Co., daughter of the late Carlyn "Shorty" Walton and Swannie Lee Powers Kelly. Mrs. Worrell retired from Magnetti-Marelli in Sanford. She also worked as a farmer and a homemaker. Mrs. Worrell was a devoted member of Raven Rock Presbyterian Church and an avid Tarheel fan. Mrs. Worrell was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Worrell; sister, Joyce Seago; two brothers, Steve Kelly and Richard Kelly.

Funeral service wil be 2:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2012 at Raven Rock Presbyterian Church in Lillington with Rev. Pat Fletcher and Elder Edward "Pee Wee" Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.

She is survived by a son, Paul Layne Worrell of Lillington; daughter, Denise Worrell Thomas of Sanford; grandchildren, Paul Worrell II and wife Jacqueline , Stuart Worrell, Frankie Worrell and companion Annie, Robert Worrell and fiancée Kelli Butler, Chad Thomas and Caleb Thomas; great-grandchildren, Savannah Worrell, Lindsey Worrell, Joseph Worrell, Charlotte Worrell, Bryana Banks and Noah Banks; sister, Katherine Graham and husband Lindell of Sanford, sister, Edith Page and husband Roger of Cameron; brother, Johnny Kelly and wife Ruth of Sanford; brother-in-law, Cliff Seago of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
