Patricia Walters, 89, of Garner (formerly Laurel MS) died Saturday, July 29, 2023. She was born in Nottingham England, the daughter of Cyril and Kathleen. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister Roberta Stok and her partner Fred Richell. She dedicated her life to teaching and was a 6th and 7th grade English teacher for most of her career at Glade Elementary School in Laurel MS and retired after 30+ years. Patricia enjoyed reading, painting, medieval dancing, and writing along with having multiple cats.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Nick Walters (Paula) of Myrick MS, and Jake Walters of Clayton NC, 3 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Laurel Jones County Animal Rescue League in Laurel MS.
