Patricia "Pat" Martin, 69 of Broadway died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. A native of Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Ada Boyer Roberts and was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Lee Martin. Pat was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was employed by Lowes of Sanford.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church, 6670 Old US 421, Mamers with Rev. Martin Groover and Rev. Dr. Richard Boyd. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 -3:30 Wednesday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home - from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home, and from 1:30-2:30pm on Thursday at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Michelle and Jesse Hughes.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ron Martin. Daughter, Michelle Hughes and husband Jesse of Broadway. Sons,Randy Martin and wife Becky of Angier; Timothy M. Martin, Sr. and wife Daryn of New Bern; 5 Grandchildren: Sean Martin, Savannah Martin, Erica Owens, Jackson Martin, Timothy M. "Trey" Martin, Jr. 4 Brothers: William "Bill" Roberts of Maryland; Thomas "Tom" Roberts of Broadway; Dennis "Denny" Roberts, Sr. of Smithfield; Larry Roberts of Rockfish.
