Mrs. Pamela Gayle Smith Webb, age 48, of Fuquay Varina died Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was born in Forsyth County, NC, the daughter of Robert E. and Lu Holland Smith.

She was a graduate of Harnett Cenral High School and N.C. State University. Pamela was an avid master gardener with a passion for flowers. Pamela served as a volunteer through the Harnett County Agriculture Extension office.

She was very active in Kennebec Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with the MOPS program. She also enjoyed attending and leading the Bible study classes at Kennebec Baptist Church.

Pamela was a founding member of Lifepoint Community Church in Willow Springs. She was a very kind and loving spirited person who loved and lived for the Lord. Pamela's light will continue to shine through everyone she touched and loved.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Kennebec Baptist Church in Angier, with Rev. Mark Howard and Rev. Nathan Redinger officiating. Burial will follow in Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Tim Webb of the home; sons, Alex Webb of Lillington and Kevin Webb of the home; parents, Robert E. and Lu Holland Smith of Chalybeate; sister, Sherry Howe of Chalybeate; uncle, Bill Smith of Apex and father-in-law, B.F. Webb of Lillington.
