Lillington NC- Norma Elizabeth (Long) Hagen passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on May 25, 2018.

She was born on September 29, 1923 in East Aurora, New York, to the late Norman L. Long and Lillian (Harsch) Long.

Norma grew up and was a resident of East Aurora, NY and later West Falls, NY for about 50 years. She was a homemaker and an accomplished organist taking and giving lessons to children for several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hagen, and her youngest daughter, Nancy Ann (Hagen) Weik.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include brother, Al (LeRoy) Long and wife, Joan; daughter, Lynda J. (Hagen-Frankson) Smith and her husband Wetzel Smith of Clayton, NC; grandchildren, Sherry Lyn (Frankson) Thompson of Hamilton, Virginia, Brian Scott Frankson of Angier, NC and Erik Weik of Lancaster, Virginia; and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life luncheon with family attending will take place at a later date.

The family would like to extend a sincere, heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Carillon in Fuquay-Varina for their attentiveness to Norma throughout her six years of residence.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association, Amedisys Hospice and Home Health Care of Garner, NC, or to your favorite charity.
