Mrs. Nina Ruth Lee, 80 of Lillington died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Dunn Rehab. and Nursing Center. A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Romie and Hattie Beasley Langdon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Olvin Lee. In addition to helping her husband on their farm, Mr. and Mrs. Lee owned and operated Lee's Grocery for 33 years in Lillington.

Funeral service will be conducted 10:30 am Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 at Pleasant Union Christian Church with Rev. Terry Beatty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home, other times at the home of Danny and Peggy Lee.

She is survived by her son, Danny O. Lee and wife Peggy of Lillington. 4 grandchildren: Stephanie Lee Wellington, Danielle Carmen Lee, Denise Gardner, and Jason Lee. 7 great grandchildren.
