Nicky Mearl Salyers, 63, of Angier, formerly of Coeburn, VA, passed away, Monday, May 12, 2025 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC.

Nick was born March 21, 1962 in Virginia.  He was a graduate of Ervington High School and was employed as a correctional officer with Red Onion State Prison in Pound, VA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Salyers; mother Dorothy Salyers; sister Debra Salyers; brother Bj (Billy Joe) Adams; sister in law Bonnie Adams

Nick is survived by his wife, Lisa Salyers; daughter, Samantha Pridemore (Chandler Green) of Coeburn, VA; son, Texas Pridemore, III; granddaughter, Natalie Green; brothers, Roy Kennedy, and Luther Salyers; brother-in-law, Roger Harvey, Jr. (Sherry); and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2pm – 4pm Saturday, May 17, 2025 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main St., Lillington, NC 27546.
