Mrs. Myrtle K. Coleman, 92 of Lillington died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd T. and Rosella McLeod Kennedy. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James C. Coleman; daughter Donnie Coleman Butler; brother, Robert P. Kennedy; and sister, Mary Walston

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 16, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Cecil McNeill officiating. The burial will follow immediately at Westview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home, other times at the home of Jimmy and Cindy Coleman.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by her daughters; Lana C. Ahrens and husband Jay of Georgia, Brenda C. Johnson and husband Robert of Lillington, Delia C. Powell and husband Leon of Lillington. Sons Larry Coleman and wife Dot of Lillington, Linwood Coleman and wife Dianne of Broadway, Jimmy Coleman and wife Cindy of Lillington.
