Mr. Mitchell Brantley, 74, of Lillington passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at his home. He was born on May 27, 1947, in Wilson County, the son of the late Edna Mae Jones Brantley and Doc Brantley. In addition to his parents, Mitchell was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Lou "Molly Bee" Brantley.

Mitchell is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryl Brown and husband Scott of Spring Lake, Jackie Barnes and husband Larry of Angier; 3 grandchildren, Makenzie Bachman and husband Tucker of Asheville, Trevor Brown of Spring Lake, Hunter Barnes of Angier; brother, James Brantley and wife Carol of Lillington; nephew, Stacy Brantley and wife Barbara of Lillington; niece, Monica Ritchie and husband Jay of Ft. Worth, TX.

A graveside service will be held for the immediate family at Westview Cemetery.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
