Miriam Christalee Nobles Brown, 91, of Lillington, passed away Thursday December 30, 2021, at The Carrolton in Dunn, NC.

She was born April 11, 1930, in Columbus County, NC to the late Mildred Myrtle Link Nobles and Elmer Boyd Nobles. Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gerald Brown; four brothers; and one sister.

Miriam pursued a career in education working as a teacher's assistant and a bus driver for several years. She cherished the time and memories shared with the children she taught. Miriam also cared for her nephew Kim Nobles from the time he was six years old until he completed high school. Her hobbies included sewing and working outdoors in her yard. Miriam was a devoted and faithful member of Lillington Baptist Church.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Pat Nobles and Reba Nobles.

A graveside service will be held Sunday January 2, 2022, at 2PM Westview Cemetery in Lillington with Pastor Daniel Selman officiating.
