Mrs. Minnie Wilson Bradsher Dean, 95, of Lillington peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Granville County, NC, the daughter of the late Fredey Booth and Minnie Anne Haskins Bradsher. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Thelbert Dean.

She and her husband owned and operated Dean's Grocery in Lillington for many years. Minnie was an active member of Lillington Baptist Church and was instrumental in the formation of other ministries (Fellowship Baptist Church and Holden Beach Chapel).

She enjoyed fellowship with others through many other organizations, including Prime Time, The Garden Club, Red Hat Club, and various town committees.

Minnie enjoyed time spent with family and friends at Holden Beach, fishing, cooking and canning, crafts, and dancing (especially with Minnie's Miracles).

Minnie is survived by her daughters Janet D. and husband Russ Beabout, and Vivian A. Humphrey, grandchildren Dean Beabout, Wendy Medlin, Gina Hodges, Charles Humphrey, and Laura Humphrey, along with eleven great-grandchildren who all love her dearly.

Funeral service will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. John Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Lillington. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at her home.
