Millard H. "Dick" Matthews, 78 of Lillington died Friday, October 15, 2010 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. He worked as a general laborer in the downtown Lillington business district for most of his life.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 11:00 am at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington. The Rev. Ken Smith will conduct the service.

Survivors include his aunt, Edna Norris of Lillington, and many cousins.
