Mr. Michael Dean Weaver, Sr., 50, of Benson, NC passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. He was born in Lee County, the son of Shirlen Ray Weaver and the late Eleanor Gray Tart Weaver. Michael loved fishing, softball, karaoke and was a diehard Tar Heels fan. He was preceded in death by his niece, Bridgitte Weaver and his grandmother, Christine McLamb Parrish.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 3, 2015 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Lillington. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael Dean Weaver, Jr. of Fuquay-Varina, NC; father, Shirlen Ray Weaver (Edith) of Sanford, NC, brother, Donnie Weaver (Brenda) of Sanford, NC brother, Ronnie Weaver of Lillington, NC, sisters, Rita Perine (Walt) of Sanford, NC, Sherry Perry (Dexter) of Apex, NC, 13 nieces and nephews, 11 great-nieces and great-nephews, companion of 9 years, Deborah Stuttz of the home and daughter, Jordan Stuttz of Broadway, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Town of Fuquay Varina Fire Dept., 401 Honeycutt Rd., Fuquay-Varna, NC 27526.
