Mr. Michael Andrew Murray, 18, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He was born in Harnett County, the son of Ana Lopez and William Thomas Murray. Michael had a smile that lit up the world. He was very compassionate and driven. Michael loved people and everyone loved him. He was everyone's best friend and a supportive brother.

Michael is survived by his mother, Ana Lopez Murray of Lillington; father, William Thomas Murray of Mineral Bluff, GA; 2 brothers, Antonio Murray and William Murray both of Lillington; maternal grandparents, Antonio Lopez and Ana Maria Medina de Lopez of Mexico; paternal grandparents, William Thomas Jackson and Debbie Jackson of Florida; girlfriend, Peyton Thomas of Broadway; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Crossroads Church in Lillington with Pastor Ken Dalton and Keith Turlington, Student Ministry Pastor officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Student Center for visitation.
