Melanie Upchurch McLeod, 58 of Broadway entered her heavenly home Saturday May 16, 2020. Melanie was preceded in death by her husband, James McLeod and sister, Donna Upchurch Patterson. Melanie greeted everyone with a smile and was always ready to give a hug. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy. Melanie's love knew no boundaries.

Melanie is survived by her son, Eddie McLeod of Broadway; grandsons, Lathan and Brantley; parents, Charles and Maxine Upchurch of Broadway; sisters, Karen Thomas and husband Randy of Lillington, Charlene Harrington and husband Randy of Broadway, Paula Arnold of Southport, Jennifer Blalock and husband Larry Joe of Broadway, with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday May 20, 2020 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Yow and Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
