Mattie Brown Currin, 91 of Lillington died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Thursie Thomas Brown and was preceded in death by her husbands, William Stephen "W.S." Currin and James Tart.

Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, June 7, 2010 at Harnett Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Union Christian Church, 2164 Neills Creek Road, Lillington, NC 27546.

Mrs. Currin is survived by daughters: Sandra Icenhour and husband, Gary of Taylorsville, Barbara Manning and husband, Noah of Thomasville. Grandchildren: Pam Myers and Tammy Manning. Great grandchildren: Wil Myers and Beau Myers.
