Mrs. Mary L. Wilson, 84, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday June 1, 2019. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Herman and Rosa Johnson Matthews. Mary delivered newspapers for the Fayetteville Observer over 30 years. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Mae Honeycutt.

Mary is survived by a son, Kenny Ray Carroll of Greer, SC; daughter, Teresa Carroll Honeycutt of Marion, NC; grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Gale of Fayetteville, NC, Betty Holder of Lillington, NC, Vicky Dean of Crumpler, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday June 7, 2019 at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Patsy Payne officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
