Mrs. Mary B. Parker, 94 of Lillington died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late William Henry, Sr. and Maggie Mae Salmon Black.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Parker; brothers, William, Davis and Neil Black; sisters, Alean Yow and Flora Smith. She was the oldest member of the Lillington Baptist Church.

A funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 3 at 3 pm at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel, with the Rev. Ken Smith presiding. Burial will follow in Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 pm prior to the service at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home. Ann's Flowers (910-893-9192) is serving the family.

Survivors include her sisters, Louise Quick of Sanford and Virginia Swain of Lillington, and many nieces and nephews.
