Mary Johe McKibbin Palmiter, 67, of Fuquay-Varina, NC passed away Tuesday February 8, 2022, at her residence.

She was born October 17, 1954, in North Hornell, NY to the late Ida Jane Willitt McKibbin and Lawrence McKibbin, Jr, formerly of Canaseraga, NY.

Mary Johe worked for Marion Rohr and Alstom Corporations. She went on to serve as the office manager of Peace of Mind Inc., a counseling practice in Lillington. Mary Johe enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and taking trips to the beach. She touched several lives through her work and was loved by her clinicians and clients.

She is survived by her son, Karol Palmiter, Jr. of Hornell, NY; her grandson, Anthony Palmiter of Hornell, NY; and her sister, Molly VanDuser of Fuquay-Varina.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
