Mr. Martin Ray "Marty" Jones, 43, of Angier, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 7, 2018.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Jones; and father, Sherwood Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Christina Jones of the home; sister, Tammy Sutherland and fiancé, Wayne Gilmore, both of Lillington; best friend, Chad Honeycutt of Lillington; and devoted family pet, Baby.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier with Pastor Timmy Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, PO Box 266, Lillington, NC 27546 to assist with funeral expenses.
