Obituary

Mark Wayne Faircloth, 49, of Scottsbluff, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

Mark was born April 17, 1967 at Erwin, North Carolina to Wayne and Patricia (Senter) Faircloth. He graduated from Harnett Central High School and attended Central Carolina Community College. He worked for the State of North Carolina in the Forestry Service for six years. He was a Certified Master Farrier for over 23 years. Mark was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Ammie Adams on January 26, 2010 in Arizona. Mark was a member of Hannah's Creek Baptist Church in Four Oaks, North Carolina. He was an eternal cowboy who liked horses, participating as a calf roper at rodeos, fishing, and camping.

Mark is survived by his wife Ammie Faircloth of Scottsbluff, NE; father Wayne Faircloth of Lillington, NC; sister and brother-in-law Angie and Johnnie Norris of Fuquay-Varina, NC; daughter Ashley Higgs of Gering, NE; son Christopher Adams of Buckeye, AZ; grandchildren Kambree and Kynzlee; and extended family members. Mark was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Courtney officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Buckboard Therapeutic Riding Academy at 270388 County Road U, Gering, Nebraska 69341.
