Mrs. Maria Seitz Norris, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the age of 87. Maria's Father was Michael Saenaier of Neuessing, Germany.. Her Mother was Maria Seitz of Kasing, Germany.

She was raised by foster parents, Lorenz and Wally (Karl) Seitz of Boeblingen, Germany.
In 1949, she Rescued a US Soldier from a mugging by two German male citizens. They were married on March 22 1952, their only child was born March 21 1953. (Dad never included the years of these events just to get a rise out of folks.)

Her husband passed August 13 2008. Her Best fur-friend, a Boxer, Mr. Gunny.. Passed August 13, 2014. She is now with them August 13, 2016.

Maria is survived by her son, Joel and his wife Pamela; six grandchildren, Jason Norris, Sarah Norris Manzanares, Jonathan Norris, Stephanie Vick, Jeremiah Fisher, and Benjamin Holt: and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
