Mrs. Margaret C. Holder, 83, of Lillington passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Leonard and Jannie Keith Cameron. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy Holder; two infants, David Paul and Patricia Ann; three brothers, Albert Cameron, Paul Cameron, Eugene Cameron and a great-grandson, Nathan Tew.

She retired from Moen of Sanford and was a member of Barbecue Presbyterian Church for many years. The Women of Barbecue Presbyterian Church awarded Mrs. Holder with the Presbyterian Women Honorary Life Membership on December 1, 2013.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Barbecue Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sandy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Mrs. Holder is survived by her sons, Bryce Holder and wife Katherine of Boone, Dennis Holder and wife Anita of Columbia, TN, 5 grandchildren, Angela Tew, Kevin Stone, Bradley Holder, April Holder and Haley Holder, 5 great-grandchildren, sister, Edna Wooten and husband Robert of Greensboro, NC, sister-in-law, Ruby Cameron of Sanford and several nieces and nephews.
