Mr. Mack C. West, 75 of Spring Lake died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late James and Pauline West. Mack was a plumber by trade, working with J. J. Barnes Plumbing in Fayetteville and later with the Sharon Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill where he retired.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, April 23, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Joe Bowden officiating. Burial will be at Gourd Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. West is survived by his wife, Vallie Mason West; Daughter, Judy Lynch and husband Cliff of Spring Lake; Sons, Michael West and wife Donna of Spring Lake, Mark West and companion Stella Heister of Spring Lake, Eric West and companion Ann Campbell of Durham. 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren
