Macie Lane Dove Pietrowicz (aka Macie Moon), 25 of Valle Crucis, N.C., formerly of Lillington, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2016.

Macie was born on March 6, 1991 in Greenbrier Co. WV. She was a cheerful life-force who loved her Lord with all her heart. She was an avid professional photographer and enjoyed taking photographs of models in nature near her mountain home.

"Creating photos, no matter how difficult, makes me feel alive. It makes me feel like I have a voice and like I can help others. It gives me a feeling of worth. It shows me how to relate and how to respond. It gets me out of my stagnant little mind. It gets me out adventuring with strangers who turn into friends. Photography has transformed me into someone better." Her vision was to uplift women...

Macie loved cats and had three sweethearts: Quin, Simone, Doyle, and (Cosmo who preceded her to heaven). Her favorite season was Fall and she adored everything about Halloween. Macie loved all types of music and had the best dance moves EVER !!

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Macie is survived by her husband Marky Pietrowicz; Parents, Doug and Gereta Dove; Brother, Elias Dove; Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law, Mark Sr. and J'amy Pietrowicz; Brothers-in-law, Jake and Josh Pietrowicz; Grandparents; Chan Whitt, Gereta Hampton, Doug Dove, Sr., Sharon Dove, Donald Lupton, Cherry Lupton and Gerry Widman.
