Mrs. Mabel Woodell Womack, age 89, of Lillington died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Catherine McLean Woodell. Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Jones Womack. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Happy Travelers.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Pastor Martin Groover officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Daniels and husband Jess of Wendell, daughter, June Wallace and husband Eddie of Sanford, son, Ronnie Womack of Lillington, son, E.J. Womack and wife Dottie of Raven Rock, five grandchildren, Lisa Jump and husband Bryan, Angie Hegwer and husband Hal, Rodney Wallace and wife Heather, Robbie Womack and wife Shannon, Nick Womack and fiancée Michelle Thompson, seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Jump, Meredith Jump, Caroline Hegwer, Carly Hegwer, Luke Wallace, Kasey Wallace, Landen Brit Womack, special nephew, Devon Brown of Lillington.
