Lucy Hill Todd, 94, of Lillington passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington after a short period of declining health. Mrs. Todd was born in the Meadow Township in Johnston County, the daughter of the late Ethel P. and Martha Godwin Hill. At an early age, her parents and a baby sister all died of typhoid fever and she and her brother were reared by her uncle and aunt, Tim and Irene Hill, who provided them with a loving and nurturing home. Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Todd, Sr.; 3 brothers, Marvin, Robert Sherrill, and Edward Hill and a sister, India Philley.

Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at Harnett Memorial Park with Dr. Cheryl Hill Benson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 prior to the service at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.

Mrs. Todd is survived by her sons, John L. Todd, Jr. and Kenneth H. Todd, Sr., both of Lillington. 2 grandchildren, Hill Todd and Betsi Todd. Great grandson, Cameron Hill Todd.
