Mrs. Lucy Currin Latta Thomas, 93, of Bunnlevel passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at her home. She was born April 17, 1922 in Granville, Co., the daughter of the late Erastus Benjamin and Nancy Veasey Latta. Mrs. Thomas was an artist, writer, homemaker and worked many years at Blue Bell in Lillington. She was a loving wife to her late husband, James Louis Thomas and a caring mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered by her friends and neighbors as Aunt Lucy.

She is survived by her children, Mitchell, Larry, Ronald, Donald, Ben and Brenda. Mrs. Thomas also is survived by her grandchildren, Todd, Matt, Eddie, Lynn, Whit, Anthony, Camille, Ben, Jr., Cameron and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James Latta.

Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Sunday, November, 29, 2015 at Lillington Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall Sunday from 1:30-2:30 PM.
