Obituary

LTC (Ret.) Cary Lynn Bragg, 53, of Lillington passed away Thursday November 25, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born February 7, 1968, in Spokane, WA to Nancy Towner Bragg and the late Gary Bragg.

Cary received his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, his Master's Degree in Information Science from Nova Southeastern University, and a graduate certificate from Walden University. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a data analyst for Occam Solutions. Cary also served as an instructor with BYU Idaho online. He loved to read, work with computers, and enjoyed building model rockets. Cary was a devoted and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Dunn, NC.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Lisa Curlin Bragg; his two daughters, Patricia Leeanne Price and Katelynn Bragg Watkins and husband Bobby; his son, Michael Cary Bragg and fiancée Liz; his granddaughter, Eva Rose Bragg; his mother, Nancy Towner Bragg; his sister, Robin Bragg; and his nieces and nephews, Zakk, Jordan, and Angel.

A memorial service will be held Friday December 3 at 12PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2305 W Cumberland Street in Dunn with Bishop Bruce Hudson officiating.
