Mrs. Lou Partin Jarman, 90, of Angier passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Lou was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Dalton and Minnie Partin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53  years, R.G. "Dick" Jarman, son-in-law, Jerry W. Hargis, brothers and sisters. Lou was a lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Angier.

Lou is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hargis of Angier; son, Daryle Jarman and wife Cindy of Angier; 2 grandchildren, Tammy Hargis Thomas and husband, Johnny and Leslie Jarman; 6 great-grandchildren, Brooke Thomas, Brody Thomas, Makayla Benton, Wyatt Lambert, Sierra Lambert and Brantley Lambert; sister, Ezda P. Griffis of Fayetteville; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, March 8, 2021 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Angier with Rev. Rick Jefferds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall Monday from 1:00-2:45 and other times at the home of Brenda Hargis. Friends are invited to visit O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home on Sunday, March 7, 2021 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM to pay their respects to Mrs. Jarman. The family will not be present during this time.
