Mr. Leonard "Len" P. Beaston, 53 of Lillington died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Beaston and his mother, Jackie Stone; step father, Alger Stone; and step sister, Louise Redwine. He worked as an automobile mechanic the majority of his life.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 2, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home and other times at the home of J.D. and Connie Colville.

He is survived by his wife Shelia M. Beaston of the home; a daughter, Jackie Beaston of Coats; a grandson, Damion Beaston of the home; sisters: Connie Colville and husband J.D. of Lillington, Wanda Stone and husband Ricky of Lillington, Donna Kay Denton and husband Johnny of Lillington, Leona Zentner and husband Ted of West Virginia; brothers: Cliff Beaston and wife Joy of Benson, Al Beaston and wife Carol of Dunn, Lewis Stone and wife Stacey of Lillington.
