Kenneth L. Coats, 51 of Lillington died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Sawyer Coats. Kenny worked as a farmer and also in commercial construction.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Robbie O'Quinn officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30--3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home, other times at the home of Everette Coats, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, PO Box 1162, Lillington NC 27546.

Kenny is survived by his brother, Everette Coats, Jr. and wife Angie of Linden; Father and step mother, Everette Coats, Sr. and Peggy of Florida.
