Mr. Kenneth R. Baker, 56 of Willow Springs died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at his home.

A native of Harnett County, he was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Baker; Son, Byron Baker; Brother, Brian Baker.

Kenny was a former employee of Cooper Tools in Apex and was currently employed by Lowes of Garner as a Department Manager.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 P.M at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday,December 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Kennebec Baptist Church, Angier, with the Rev. Mark Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Barbara Trimble Baker; Daughter: Felicia Baker of Fuquay-Varina; Mother: Ruth Knight Baker of Fuquay-Varina; Sister: Kim Baker of Angier; 2 Brothers: Scott Baker and wife Stacy of Fuquay-Varina; James Baker and wife Ruthanne of Willow Springs; 2 Step daughters: London Wisnewski of Fuquay-Varina and Melissa Bambule of Apex; Step son: Christopher Shull of Willow Springs; 7 grandchildren: Jaiden Baker, Jaison Wisnewski, Eddie Wisnewski, Devin Wisnewski, Kylie Bambule, Clara Bambule and Aiden Britt.; Nephew: Christopher Baker and nieces Hope and Suzanne Baker; Miranda and Olivia Johnson. great niece Kenzie Baker and great nephew Clayton Baker

A funeral service will be held Saturday,December 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Kennebec Baptist Church, Angier, with the Rev. Mark Howard officiating.
