Mr. Ken C. Hardee, 69, of Fuquay Varina passed away Saturday February 2, 2019. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Odell and Ruby Powell Hardee. Ken was a lifelong resident of Harnett County with military service taking him around the world. Ken was a trustee of Duncan Baptist Church, Deacon and Sunday school teacher of the Grace B. Class for over 15 years. Ken loved the coast, especially the OBX, fishing, woodworking and antiquing. He was a devoted husband to Kathy and son-in-law to Lorene Ward. Ken loved his church family and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Hardee.

Ken is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kathy Ward Hardee of the home; brother, Steve Hardee of Fuquay Varina; 2 nephews and a niece.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Duncan Baptist Church in Duncan with Rev. David McLaurin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
