Kay M. Spaulding, 88 of Lillington died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the State Employees Credit Union Hospice House in Smithfield.

She was born on August 29, 1927 in Seattle WA to the late Herman and Ivah House Ott. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Kay Langdon.

Kay is survived by a son, Daniel H. Spaulding and wife Sissy of Lillington; a daughter, Andrea K. Knettel and husband Michael of Gulfport, FL; a sister, Carolyn Hernandez of CA; a granddaughter, Destria Jackson and husband Roe of Fayetteville.
