Mrs. Kathy Fowler Matthews, 64, of Coats, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Wake County to the late James Fowler, Sr. and Sadie Morgan Fowler.  She loved working at the NC State Farmer's Market in Raleigh.

The family will be having a private service.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Fowler, Jr.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Clifton Matthews; son, Tony Peed; step-son, Dewayne Matthews; five siblings, Shelby Rogers, Jacqueline Poole, Larry Fowler, Bonnie Strickland, and Lisa Jeffris; and her special best friend (sister), Lois Moore.
