Kathy S. Harrelson, 57 of Bunnlevel died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Elizabeth Goad Simpkins.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with the Rev. Terry Williams presiding.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at her home.

Survivors include her husband, David Harrelson; daughters, Lorie H. Babb and husband Danny of Lillington; Sherry H. King and husband Robert, of Lillington; brother, James Wendle Simpkins of Virginia; five grandchildren, Michael Travis Wilson, Katelyn Wilson, Dawson King, Layton Babb, and Elizabeth Babb.
