Kathryn Pate Broadwell, 58 of Fuquay-Varina died Monday, March 4, 2013 at Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh.

A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Lois Wilson Pate.

She graduated from Lillington High School and continued her studies at Peace College and N.C. State where she received degrees in Business and Zoology. After graduation, Kathryn worked at First Citizens Bank in Raleigh for over 35 years.

A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 9, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel, Lillington, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00--11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Broadwell is survived by her daughter, Virginia Kathryn "Katie" Broadwell of Fuquay-Varina; Son, Jarratt Thomas Broadwell of Fuquay-Varina; Brother Jim Pate of Fayetteville.
